Thailand.. Pure Bliss

Sun, Sea and a Tan? Yes Please....

Thinking of a Holiday get away?

I visited Thailand in November 2013. I flew from Amsterdam- to Dubai on the Emirates A380 Plane which is just out of this world with an upstairs and spa showers. It made the 7 hour journey alot nicer with all new movies aswell. Take a look the amazing plane here http://www.emirates.com/english/flying/our_fleet/emirates_a380/emirates_a380.aspx

Now We did not avail of these beautiful rooms, It was the first time travelling on the A380- We had no Idea they existed! But for next time..... We know!!!!

The Emirate Flight Attendants spoke all languages. They came around with soft drinks every hour, offering hot and cold towels, and we were served Breakfast Lunch & Dinner. There was a menu with food options so you could choose which meal you wanted and vegetarians were catered for.
The toilets on the plane were very pleasant with body products such as body lotion and body spray and facial tissues to freshen up after or during the flight. I thought this was a nice touch.
Water was always available on the plane, whenever you needed.

Long flights can take a real toll on your body, especially when there is a huge time difference to deal with.
  • Drink lots and lots of water
  • Keep hand sanitiser with you
  • Walk around to stretch your legs
  • Bring a memory foam neck pillow
  • Keep a pen handy.

Some Tips here on this site... Always good to be prepared before Flying :)http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/723733/What-happens-to-your-body-when-you-fly-and-how-to-beat-the-pain.html

The Resort:

We flew into Bangkok and straight from Bangkok to Koh Samui Island. 1 hour flight.

The resort we stayed in was called Centara Grand Beach Resort.

From the moment we arrived there it was amazing. The resort is just out of this world. It is Huge. Everyone working there were absolutely fantastic, the service was 6 star. Anything you wanted or needed was done right away.
Every night at around tea time a little something was left on the coffee table for us, a different selection of thai treats each night. It was a very nice touch.

We stayed in the resort for 10 nights. Which was perfect. Our Suite was on the ground floor and had a private swimming pool.

I would run back here in the morning if I could! It was just gorgeous. Everyday the room was cleaned with new towels and robes. A selection of Toothbrushes and toothpaste were there for anyone who forgot to pack theirs. And a mini sewing kit was provided, along with a shaving kit, and a hair comb. These were all nice little things that can come in handy when you least expect it!

Our suite was a 1 minute walk to the beach..... Ooooh Heaven. And to the right, about 5 second walk was the Lovely pool. With a bar in the middle. #Ideal

The hotel had a bakery, and Beautiful restaurants to choose from. Everything was just on our doorstep.
A gym was also available to us and surprisingly enough we used this about 4 times in the 10 days!! We had to.... Thai food is to die for...... Yummy!!!

When we booked the resort we signed up for the package called 'The Club'. This was a VIP area which was open at certain hours to serve food, drinks and happy hour. This was nice for us because if we missed breakfast in the hotel we knew we could head to the club at any time to get a snack. Between 5& 7 pm was Happy Hour and we could have cocktails- for free! What more could you want.

Ahhhh typing this makes me want to go back!!! We had a lovely time and even tho the sun didnt shine everyday, some days we were caught in the rain, We made the most of it!
Activities such as safari tours, visiting the tiger zoo, learning to dive, Boat tours, Temple & Buddha tours, Lady boy shows, elephant riding, and many more are all on offer to you every place you go to in Thailand. You will never be bored!

A romantic Candle lit dinner on the beach was a surprise for me on our last night- This was done through the hotel and it was absolutely gorgeous. So romantic and I loved it!

This is the Link to the Resort in Koh Samui, They also have more resorts all over.
And I would recommend This Resort to anyone. It was just Beautiful. I cannot wait to go back.

Spa's, Beauty Parlours, Massage Massage:

Anyone know where you can get a full body Thai massage for 10euro!?
.....Thailand.

The Spas over there offer everything... everything! And at a price you wouldn't believe.
We got massages almost everyday. I loved them. Mostly I just got Leg and foot massages. I always felt 10 times better after.. Ahhh light legs.....
The facials they do in some of the spas are fantastic, I got one and Oh My, she got every tiny blackhead out! Sore.. But felt Oh so good!!
Such a nice place to spend an hour after a long day of relaxing tanning on the beach, or a busy day touring the area.
The spas stay open til late so even after a drink and a little dance you can run into one and get a nice little pampering before bed!
Happy Endings are most deffo on offer- But I am not into that sorta thing!:-/

Bangkok:

After our 10days on the Beautiful Island of Samui, We flew back to Bangkok & spent 3 nights there.

This was a big change to the Lovely calm island.... there were people everywhere in Bangkok, the city alone as 6.355million people.

Here in the city, we stayed in a hostel, 'The Wild Orchid Villa' which was very nice. It was obviously very different to our deluxe suite in Koh Samui. We satyed on the Rooftop in this hostel, and it was clean, comfortable and had lovely views.

Here is the Website of where we stayed. Great for backpackers or people like us just Stopping in Bangkok. And for only 30e a night for our Pent house suite type room! Other rooms for as little as 10e- But these simple 2 beds bathroom TV. http://www.wildorchidvilla.com/

Bangkok had alot of busy streets with market stalls everywhere, I bought some really nice clothes, and bags. I love shopping at markets I always have as they are the place for picking up a bargain, and at that- everyone at home isn't likely to have what you pick up! I got fab things there and since home everyone admiring them and cant believe I picked them up for as little as a few euro! Vintage shirts, High waisted pattern trousers, handbags, hats, unusual jewellery.. I suggest everyone going, Or thinking of heading to Thailand, bring an empty suitcase! I brought too much which meant No1: I had to buy a new suitcase & No2: I couldnt buy alot of things I really wanted, like more handbags!!

We took a canal cruise through the local areas of Bangkok which really shows how poor the place really is.

Night Life in Both the City & Island:

Both were unreal, drinks expensive. The clubs and pubs were really good with lots of locals out. The girls were all so Tiny and pretty! There is a lot of young women with older older men walking around in Thailand- which is so normal now a days over there. The Lady boys were just unreal there, sometimes I had to look twice because they look so so feminine. Big Boobs, Tiny waist. botox fillers.. I swear they look better than us girls... (from behind!!)

Thailand... The place to visit!! Cant wait to go back!

Suggestions; Grand Centara resort, Wild Orchid Villa.

#Week2 of CROSS FIT

Become a BAD ASS!!!

So This video.... Usually I would NEVER and I mean Never lift this kind of weight in the gym... Id have no idea what to do with it and be afraid I couldn't even lift the thing... BUT in Cross fit this is what we do!!!!
And.... its not so hard.... Weights vary in size so I know I wont kill myself or god forbid let it fall on my tiny toes.... Its fun!!!

Q:What is she doing???

A: A Thruster...

Its a tough movement so start off my perfecting your squats & lifting weights.

Then step one to a Thruster is knowing how to do a DEADLIFT:

It is the most commonly done wrong exercise, but once you have it. Its EASY!

Posture  is so so important when lifting weights, so Iv been practising that alot lately.

You must bend your knees and stick out your Ass and at the start I kept getting confused and squatting.
So practise makes perfect and Cross fit is a skill it takes time to get it all together...
Breathe on the way up and always look straight forward.
Push butt back all the time and FLEX FLEX FLEX.

Important: To Keep hips up, chest out and push your butt to the back wall AND always keep your elbows locked.

SUPER AMAZING FOR: your gluts and your hamstrings.... = TIGHT ass ladies and Toned Legs ;-)

Bikini Bodies ARE MADE IN WINTER
Start working on yours :):):)

This guy shows it really really well.....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XiPP8D_qA0

I am not a trained fitness instructor At All- I am just learning alot this past few months as I am doing the most exercise now than I ever have before in my life and I am Loving it.

Life On-board A Cruise ship....... For 9 months!!!!!!!!!!! #OMG

Thinking about travelling the world??? Want a change of scenery??? Not afriad of getting Sea Sick?? Over 21...........???

Get your ASS on a cruise ship!!!! See the world, meet amazing people!!! Bar work, Casinos, Shops, Restaurant, Spa...

For Spa interest: http://www.onespaworld.com/

The Work on a Cruise ship is not as glamorous as it seems and is most defo isnt for people looking for a holiday!!! It is hard work... it is long long hours and some departments dont even get a day off in a week, (CRAZY)!

Pros:
  • You see the world, And places you may never even thought of going to.
  • You realise how strong and determined you really are as a person.
  • You save alot of money (if you dont spent it in the crew bar that is)!
  • You meet people from all over the world, And make friends for Life
  • You learn things that will take you years to learn on land.
  • You appreciate every little thing, and everyone in your life.
Cons:
  • You work extremely long hours, you become beyond tired its hard to function.
  • The food.. makes you FAT. processed and processed.
  • Lack of time to yourself.. cant just go for a walk when you feel. Your life on the ship is organised by your manager... you can get a call at 12am ''come to the spa, you didnt do this this and this''
  • No privacy, everyone knows you, your cabin and your business.
  • Share bunk beds in a tiny tiny room with a tiny tiny bathroom.
  • Spa- income is commission base. This means, you may be working a 14 hr shift with zero guests and you get $0.00!!!!
  • You get lonely... Home seems so far away.

But Everyone's Experience is Totally Different and I recommend Everyone Interested and thinking of doing the cruise ship to apply... Whats to loose? Life is so short.. GO SEE THE WORLD!!!!

3 Things I wish I knew Before Leaving:
  • To bring a hard drive and mini laptop for movies and wifi & also to back up photos as the months go on.
  • To bring clothes for ALL weather types (packing for 9months is very hard)
  • To pack bedcovers to make it feel like home.

Home Will Always Be There!!! :)
